crochet club 2012 had 280 members from countries across the world and the design of the project was based on traditional victorian lace crochet - the crochet club once again had the benefit of the dedicated crochet club blog which explained techniques with step by step images and tips and techniques - over the 6 months that the club ran, members were asked to complete crochet lace pieces that included techniques such as beaded double crochet, beaded treble crochet, picots, clusters and colour changing - the patterns were written so that members had the choice of making a runner or a more rectangular design
